Event Registration and Payment
With the introduction of new features in version 2.0, including live event registration and payment processing, the following terms apply:
- Registration: Users may register for events (hackathons, coding contests, and meet-ups) directly through our platform.
- Payment: Users may be required to pay a fee to participate in certain events. Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. By registering for an event and making a payment, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
- Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation and refund policies will be clearly outlined for each event. By registering for an event, you agree to the specific cancellation and refund terms associated with that event.
Skills Section
The Skills section provides access to curated courses, trainings, workshops, and the coding playground:
- Courses: Users can access a variety of courses through links to external websites. JP Academy is not responsible for the content or availability of these external courses.
- Trainings: Users can register enrol for live online trainings. Registration details and payment terms will be provided for each training session.
- Workshops: Workshops are also available both online and offline and will be offered to Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) in collaboration with academic institutions.
- Playground: Users can access an interactive coding playground to practice coding in various programming languages.
TTPOA Collaboration
We are proud to announce our collaboration with the Telangana Training And Placement Officer Association (TTPOA), which has a network of 250+ colleges in Telangana. Through this partnership, we are strengthening our commitment to providing high-quality career training and placement services to colleges and students across the state. This collaboration allows us to host large-scale events and provide our services to a broader audience.
Data Protection
We have updated our privacy and data protection measures to comply with new features:
- Data Collection: New data types include payment information, event registrations, and additional profile details for skills and training.
- Data Use: Data collected will be used to process event registrations, payments, and to improve our services.
- Data Sharing: We may share your data with third-party service providers for payment processing and training platforms.
